Zaman sekarang segala hal menjadi lebih mudah termasuk dalam urusan programming. Bila anda terbiasa menggunakan IDE (Integrated Development Environment) Eclipse dalam membuat aplikasi JAVA, ada baiknya anda berkenalan dengan tools dari IBM ini.

Awalnya tools ini bernamakan Bowstreet Factory Portlet, pada tahun 2005 di akuisisi oleh IBM dan bernaung di bawah brand Websphere menjadikan namanya Websphere Portlet Factory. Belum lama ini, namanya di ubah lagi menjadi Websphere Experience Factory. Selanjutnya saya singkat menjadi WEF saja ya?

My Lotus Notes 8.5.4 Splash ScreenDisclaimer: There is no Lotus Notes Personal Edition 10.5,  i just made it up for fun 🙂

Want to change your lotus notes splash screen too?

Here is what to do:

First, backup your notes.ini,

By default, [notes root] located at c:\progra~1\ibm\lotus\notes

Add or edit two lines at your notes.ini

SESplashPath=C:\Notes\framework\shared\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.notes.socialedition.branding_8.5.4.20120615-1821\splashgtw.bmp
HasNotesOverlay=1

notes.ini

notes.ini edited

Backup of your splash.bmp, use your favorite graphics software to create  image. Save as bmp file.

That’s it

UPDATE: This tip works only in Lotus Notes client 8.5.4 CD4 and You must install Social Edition add on.
