Lotus Notes client 8.5.2 in a loop "loading...please wait"

notes client in a loop 'loading ... please wait'

Entah kenapa, apa yang terjadi.. lotus notes client versi standard saya tidak bisa di jalankan. Ketika terbuka, notes client hanya menampilkan screen tertulis ‘loading… please wait’. Progress bar berjalan sampai batas kanan kemudian kembali lagi ke awal. Saya hanya bisa menjalankan dalam versi basic.

Setelah cari-cari di googling belum menemukan solusi yang ampuh. Uninstall? kurang menantang
Kalau setiap masalah, di atasi dengan uninstall dan install kembali, kurang puas rasanya.

Akhirnya setelah berkutat seharian penuh, tampaknya masalah yang terjadi pada notes client saya adalah, salah satu plugin di dalamnya yang membuat looping. solusinya pindahkan atau hapus folder framework yang ada di [notes root], copy folder framework dari notes client yang bersih.

Finally after struggling all day, it seems a problem that occurs in my notes client is, one of the plugins in it that makes loops.

here is what i did:

I rename the folder [notesroot]\framework to [notesroot]\framework_broken

and

Get the clean lotus notes client 8.5.2 [notesroot]\framework folder from other machine, then…
copy it to my [notesroot] folder

and the results….

notes client run as expected…
